Nokia nostalgic? The new Nokia 3310 3G has recently debuted in Singapore from October onwards. It is widely sold for it’s updated version to the legendary original successor. For us, it’s simply to get unplugged to the SmartPhone world!
The compact sporty and bright Nokia 3310 new look can make quite a statement in retro style. My first saw was how the colours blend into my recent favourite fashion colour : I’ll like to call it the Airbnb colour! It matches so well on my Sephora #Jealous nail polish and Dior Addict #451 long-wear colored tint lip tattoo rouge.
Nokia 3310 has the right colour screen size and came preloaded with a few important tools. It is packed full of nostalgic charms.
Here are the verdicts :
-
- compact & colourful
-
- screen size is just right
-
- long battery life
-
- tough!? (I didn’t actually do a drop test, so I can’t tell you if it’s really tough)
-
- with FM radio (I like! but you need to connect it to an earpiece)
-
- with a few tools like torch, calculator, converter, counters
-
- bluetooth connection to transfer files easily
- for the price, 2MP camera photo quality is acceptable
There’s no WiFi connection, only 3G. However, transferring files can be done easily via it’s Bluetooth on my Mac. I can easily retrieve and access the file directories via Bluetooth connection.
My first unbox and try out was how good the plastic material feels on hand. Check out the video to see it real. Did I mention, we actually saw some ‘fake’ Nokia 3310 surfacing at neighbouring countries, just beware! Spot the difference by comparing the Snake game. The original can be seen in my video.
It won’t replace your iPhone / Android Phones but it will do good to you sometimes. Get unplugged to the smartphone world, rest your eye and stay good with a decent Nokia 3310 compact phone.
You can get it a local telco shop like M1 for S$99.
